Description & Usage

The SHITEMID structure holds the data of an item identifier. Since the ITEMIDLIST structure (to which this structure belongs) is almost never used explitly by a program, this structure also is usually not used directly.

cbSize

The size in bytes of the structure.

abID

The data of the item identifier. The length of this parameter can vary. The format of its contents is undocumented and cannot be accessed directly.
