Description & Usage

The ULARGE_INTEGER structure stores a 64-bit unsigned integer. Unsigned integers range in value from &H0 to &HFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF (or in decimal, 2⁶⁴). This structure is defined primarily for languages (such as Visual Basic but including many others) which have no intrinsic support for 64-bit unsigned integers. The structure splits the value into two 32-bit halves: a high-order half and a low-order half. If the programming language you use does support 64-bit unsigned integers, you can replace the two data members of this structure with a single value (or use that data type instead of the structure altogether).
