FUNCTION NAMES: Quadratic_Roots_Of (Arg_A, Arg_B, Arg_C)

=====================================================================
VERSION: v1.0

=====================================================================
AUTHOR: Jay Tanner

=====================================================================
SOURCE LANGUAGE: MS Visual BASIC v5

=====================================================================
PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION

This function solves a standard quadratic equation of the form:

Ax + Bx + C  =  0

The function arguments, A, B and C, may be up to 28 digits and either
negative or positive.

NOTE: It is possible to overflow the program if the arguments are
extremely large, but this is not at all likely in any practical use.
Just in case, an error trap has been put in to handle this eventuality
without crashing the program.

IMAGINARY ROOTS:
In the case of imaginary (complex) roots the answer will be in the
usual form of an imaginary number with the symbol (i) at the end
symbolizing the square root of -1, as is the standard custom in
mathematics.

=====================================================================
USAGE FORMAT

Q = Quadratic_Roots_Of (Arg_A, Arg_B, Arg_C)

=====================================================================
EXAMPLES

To find the quadratic roots of  -x + 2x + 3 = 0

A = -1
B = 2
C = 3

Q = Quadratic_Roots_Of (A, B, C)

The roots are real and their values are:

X1 = 3

and

X2 = -1

===============================
To find the quadratic roots of  1.68x - 2.976x + 8.7733 = 0

A = 1.562
B = 9.135
C = -7.533

Q = Quadratic_Roots_Of (A, B, C)

The roots are imaginary (complex) and their values are:

X1 = 0.8857142857142857142857142857
   + 2.1065879010936176943402592433 i
and

X2 = 0.8857142857142857142857142857
   - 2.1065879010936176943402592433 i
