**** HOW to compile JMatLink ? ****

Set the path to MATLAB's bin directory
     set PATH=%PATH%;c:\matlab52\bin

I use VisualC 4.0 to compile.

Set VisualC environment
    e:\msdev\bin\vcvars32.bat

Use mex-m-file to compile.

c:\matlab52\bin\mex.bat -v -Ie:\jdk1.2\include -Ie:\jdk1.2\include\Win32 -f msvcengmatopts.bat JMatLink.c

c:\matlabr11\bin\mex.bat -v -Ic:\Programme\jdk1.1.4\include -IC:\Programme\jdk1.1.4\include\Win32 -f msvcengmatopts.bat JMatLink.c

!! put JMatLink.dll in the jdk1.2/jre/bin directory
!! I'm not quite sure, why you'll have to do this. It
!! should depend on the path for native libraries, but
!! I don't know much about it.

**** How To Invoke the virtual machine from within MATLAB ****

set PATH=%PATH%;e:\jdk1.2\jre\bin\classic

cl -Ie:\jdk1.2\include\ -Ie:\jdk1.2\include\Win32\ -MT invoke.c -link e:\jdk1.2\lib\jvm.lib

!!! mex-file invokes virtual machine !!!!

mex invoke.c -Ie:\jdk1.2\include -Ie:\jdk1.2\include\win32 e:\jdk1.2\lib\jvm.lib

Start matlab in a dos box to have the path to matlab set properly and
the bin/ directory in the path as well.
