Do you mean launching any application within your application? if so then System.Diagnostic.Process class is suitable for you

For example

System.Diagnostic.Process.Start(notepad.exe)

this will lunch the regular windows Notepad.exe

أخ abdelaleem أشكرك كثيراً على ردودك السريع واهتمامك.

لكن سؤالي هو كيف أستطيع فتح اي ملف (مثلاً ملف Word أو Excel أو حتى صورة) وكأني أقوم بعملية Double Click على الملف بشكل يفتح البرنامج مباشرة ويعرض الملف. أمّا بالنسبة للملفات التي لا يوجد لها برامج لتقوم بفتحها عندها يعرض لي الخيار Open With. بشكل عام أريد طريقة عمل الويندوز مع الملفات لكن من خلال ال VB.NET.

مع الشكر الكبير للجميع...

?Do you want your application to open the Word file (*.doc) itself within your application, or just want your application to lunch Word program

In other words, when you click a button in your application, a specefic word file opens in a RichTextBox control in your application

Or

when you click that button, Word.exe runs as an independent program

أخ abdelaleem, ما أقصده ليس الأول ولا حتى الثاني...

ما اريده هو تشغيل كل الملفات وكأنك تقوم بعملية Double Click عليها في مستكشف الويندوز. على سبيل المثال ملف إسمه Draw.dwg موجود على القرص الصلب في السواقة C. هذا الملف تابع لبرنامج AutoCad فلو قمت بالنقر عليه سيفتح برنامج AutoCad ويعرض لك الرسم الموجود داخل الملف. أما إذا لم يكن البرنامج موجود فإنه سيعطيك نافذة ال Open With , صحيح؟

ما أريده نفس الشئ أضع Common Dialog وأختار الملف الذي أريده من داخل البرنامج المكتوب بال VB.NET وعندما أضغط على زر (فرضاً Open) يقوم بنفس العملية السابقة كما لو أني قمت بعملية النقر عليه مباشرة.

أرجو من الله أن أكون أوضحت ما أريد....

anyway I guess that you need an Explorer style application, see the attachment zip file
