Acer Aspire T310 Windows XP Installation

Hello All

I Have problem installing windows xp professional in Acer Aspire T310 machine, i boot the pc from CD rom and i get the windows XP loading screen, then when it finish it goes to 3 options:

1)If u want to install windows press enter.

2)If u want to repare press R

3)if u want to cancel press F3

So till now all goes OK.

Untill i press "enter" or "R" then another screen goes to tell me:

Setup did not find any harddisk drives installed on your computer, press F3 to exit.

All the connection in my computer is functioning and also the hard disk, but i dont know why this happen

and also i cant access bios since it password protected from acer company.

واجهت هذه المشكلة قبل بضعة أيام مع جهاز من نوع Acer AcerPower وقد تمكنت من حلها بحمدالله.

المشكلة تتمثل في أن هاردسكات هذه الأجهزة من طراز جديد يسمى SATA = Serial ATA والبرامج التعريفية التي تمكن برنامج تنزيل Windows XP من التعامل مع الهاردسك غير موجودة ضمن اسطوانة XP، لذا تصادفك رسالة Setup did not find any harddisk drives installed on your computer, press F3 to exit

الحل كان في تنزيل SATA Disk Driver من موقع الشركة على شكل ملف مضغوط، ومن ثم فك الضغط ونسخ ملفات التعريف في floppy disk، بحيث تكون في الدليل العام root directory للقرص المرن، ومن ثم البدء في تنزيل Windows XP، في أول خطوة ستظهر لك رسالة:

Press F6 if you need to install a third party SCSI or RAID driver

اضغط F6 ليسألك بعد قليل عن القرص المرن الذي يحوي تعريف الSATA Harddisk عبر الرسالة specify additional device تأكد من وجوده في داخل محرك الأقراص المرنة واضغط S ليبحث في القرص المرن عن التعريف، وسيطلب منك اختيار تعريف قرص الSATA المناسب في حال أن وجده على القرص المرن، اضغط enter ليقوم بتحميل SATA driver ومن ثم سيسألك عما إذا كنت ترغب مواصلة تحميل Windows بضغط enter أو تحميل SATA Driver آخر بضغط S، اضغط enter لمواصلة تحميل Windows ومنها ليظهر لك القرص الصلب في خطوة اختيار مكان تنزيل نظام التشغيل.
