Assalamu 3alaykom. I created a library full of important stuff. I compiled it as class library "dll file", and i want the dll to be secured so that no one can see what i have in this library except the other project wher i wanna use this library in. Can u tell me how can i make it secured and btw i put a password request in the constructor of the class, but its not enough at all. tnx in advance

ana mosh khabeer kteer fee haza el major and i thought that dll is the secured file that no one can c what it have but the thing is that the dll file can be read from any visual studio .net software and that is what i am facing. and i heard of scurity for it. try to make a class library and then create another project and add the dll to it as a reference. u'll know what i mean.

Yeh the DLL can be read from visual studio but not entirely as maximum you kan see the main methods defined in it but the body of each method will be hiden. Obviously in the case of standard DLL. Else All DLLs of Windows will be exposed for evryone and Microsoft is n't stupide to acheive that level :lol: .
So write your DLL without complexity and beeying scare for your code. You can add a timer to expire the use of you DLL after certain period to shelter it. (I didn't tried this solution before but I thunk it can be helpful

tnx el fekra wad7a and i know that but i wanted a higher dll security level coz thre are many dll's that can't be seen in vs .net, also its not severely important and i can avoid this high security if i want.
