كيف اشبك developer 9i على sql server

أخي الكريم الموضوع صعب جداً لأنه على حسب علمي انه الأوراكل ديفيلوبر لاتتصل إلا على قواعد بيانات أوراكل حسب ما هو معرف لديها بملف الـ Tnsnames.ora .

وهو يشبة التالي :

igbdb = 
  (DESCRIPTION =
	(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = igblabtop)(PORT = 1521))
	 (CONNECT_DATA = (SID=IGBDB))
 )
)

حيث أن igbdb هو إسم الخدمة لدى العميل .

و igblabtop هو إسم الجهاز الذي يحتوي على قاعدة البيانات .

و 1521 هو رقم المنفذ المستخدم للإتصال بقاعدة البيانات بذلك الجهاز على مستوى امان الشبكة .

و IGBDB الأخيرة هي إسم قاعدة البيانات بالجهاز الذي يحتوي على قاعدة البيانات .

ولكني لم أجد إلى يومنا هذا NetConfiguration خاص بالربط مع قاعدة بيانات MS/SQL-Server .

يمكنك الإتصال مع قواعد البيانات Sql Server و لكنك ستخسر جميع المميزات التي يقدمها لك Developer فعندها ستضطر لكتابة on-select و On-delete و on-insert .... إلخ ...

Connecting with Open Gateway

When you connect to a data source other than Oracle with an Open Gateway product, you

should be aware of these transactional properties:

• Cursor mode form module property

• Savepoint mode form module property

• Key mode block property

• Locking mode block property

You can set these properties to specify how Forms should interact with your data source.

The specific settings depend on the capabilities of the data source.

Using Transactional Triggers

If no Open Gateway drivers exist for your data source, you must define transactional

triggers. From these triggers, you must call 3GL programs that implement the access to

the data source.
