على سبيل المثال هذه الخوارزمية كيف ممكن نحولها...
1. add a number of zero's = thepol.degree to the end of the frame.
2. use modulo 2 and divide the bit string resulted from point 1 by generator G(x).
3. use modulo 2 and subtract the remainder resulted from point 2 by bit string resulted from point 1.
the result will be the checksummed frame to be transmitted,T(x).
