JDeveloper 9 is still a new software ,so you will not find much information about how to use it.It is always better to use the help files from Oracle:

Generally speaking, if you want to gain a good knowledge of JSP then you need to know how to use JavaBeans components inside it.This means you will create your objects as beans .An example is : product,user,shopping basket and so on.These are your beans which you need to model them using classes with get and set properties.

You can then access these beans from JSP pages to add,edit or remove these beans.Also you need to use Database becuase most real life objects need a database to store their properties.

If you want to go further then you could use Enterprise JavaBeans which is the latest component technology.
