Put the JavaScript code here so we can see what you are doing in your function.Your JavaScript should return a Boolean value like true and once it returns ,the form will be submitted and the target page will be opened in a new browser.

How about the browser ?.Are using IE or Netsacpe because the DOM model is different in Netscape and may not work.
