There is no deference in compilation speed because both are the same, the figure below will demonstrate

All the programming language that goes with CLS Common Language Specification will goes in the same process , all the .NET source code or be interpreted as MSIL and then the CLR Common Language Runtime will convert and execute it as Machine Language
so there no deferance
