Aptana Studio معروف لدى مطوّري المواقع وتطبيقات الويب بأنه أحد أفضل IDE في هذا المجال ، وهو في الأصل مبني على مشروع eclipse المعروف . Aptana Studio مشروع مفتوح المصدر و هو تحت سيطرة appcelerator الآن ، ولا نعرف عن مصير المشروع شيء ، ولكن لعلّه سيقى مفتوح المصدر كما عهدناه .
