من الناحية البرمجية نجد ان ASP يعتمد فى برمجته على كود الفيجوال بيسك بينما نجد JSP تعتمد على كود الجافا.
تعمل ASP على منصات الويندوز فقط بينما نجد ان JSP تعمل على جميع المنصات.

صلاح ASP.NET مو بس C# ... تقدر تكتب الكود حقك بأي لغة .NET.

اخي خالد ممكن تعطيني اسم مخدم استضافة يدعم JSP و مجاني و يحمل عن طريق http ماعدا isavvix.com فهو ردئ و تحميل ملف ملف و لايجوز ان يزداد حجم الملف عن حد معين صغير جدا mycgiserver يبدو رائعا جدا و لكنني لا استطيع التجميل عن طريق ftp ارجو منك المساعدة

References about jsp is available, I think there are about trillion free article and tutorial waiting for reading. All you have to do is to open google and ask for one of them.
If you use “jsp vs. asp” in some search engine you will find great sites comparing both technologies, of course you will find jsp is much better and wonder why do they sell asp.
Last thing salam JavaMan and I will assure you that orion is one of the best servers you might find, and it is free downloaded by http, as I know that here in Syria it is hard to download anything in ftp. If you wont my friend I’ll may send you a step by step paper to download and install and use it.

some step in install tomcat deficalt to undersand??
