Reports6 to Excel without leaving Browser!!

A way to convert Oracle Reports to Excel and display on browser without first creating a delimited file? It looks like there is no easy way but here an example of how to do it and how it works: 
The report data is displayed initially on the web, in our case in PDF format. An icon below the report data, acting as a URL, calls a procedure to extract the currently run data and display it automatically in the web browser as an Excel spreadsheet. This means that the User does not have to open a delimited file from Excel and do any imports of delimited data! Of course, this works best on reports that have a determined number of row/columns. However, there are workarounds for those reports that have varying rows but this should get you started. You must create all your work in a Before Report Trigger meaning that no queries will exist in the data model section. Only placeholder columns and totals/subtotal columns. Basically all the fields on the report will exist in the data model and you will assign their values as you process the PL/SQL. See example.

AND FINALLY ADD A BOILERPLATE IMAGE TO THE REPORT (I copied the Excel Icon) 
After adding the image, Right click and select PL/SQL Editor and add the following as appropriate:
