i need to make a connection to Sql server on asp page
i recieve odbc error
the code is as follows
ConnStr =Application("SMS")
Set ConnectionName=Server.CreateObject("Adodb.Connection")
ConnectionName.ConnectionString=ConnStr
ConnectionName.Open
set rs = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.recordset")
rs.open "select * from sms",ConnectionName
where SMS is the ODBC name
and i get the error on the line containing the open connection
plz tell me if i have made something wrong
