انزال SQL Enterprice على XP

when you have installed it at work, is your work PC connected to a network of a server that contains an instance of SQL Server 2000, if so, when you installed SQL Server on your work PC, it will try to find another instance of it on the netowrk, so it has found the Server`s instance of SQL Server.

SQL Server Enterprise edition can be installed only on Windows server family 2000, 2003.

On your home PC, it is better to install the SQL server Developer edition. It is designed to work on 2000, XP professional. or at first install the MSDE from the Office XP or Office 2003 CD.
