Dealing with Group Policy programmatically

ابحث في جووجل عن ال gruop policies و ستجد معلومات وافية ... و لتحديد ال group policy يجب عليك اللعب مع الregistry

لا اعتقد انه يمكن عملها بالنسخه القديمه من الفيجوال بيسك 6 و لكن يمكنك التعامل معها باستخدام ال WSH او ال WMI

اما بالدوت نيت فلا اعرف إمكانيات تعاملها مع ال GPO

على العموم من خلال بحثى للرد على موضوعك وجدت هذا الرابط

ال Group policy application هة برنامج يقوم بالتعديل بالوندوز لتحديد ما يمكن المستخدم ان يفعل على هذا الجهاز...طبعا يجب ان يكون هناك برنامج اخر وهو الجهاز الرئيسي او السيرفر والذي يملكه مدير الشبكة و هو الذي يحدد امكانيات كل جهاز.

All I wanna do is to assign some values to the Administrative Templates items like start menu and taskbar

You may do that through registry also

If you don't mind , write in details what you want to do

Group policy application is as i explain might be based on a server/client basis where the network administrator can assign permissions to differant users on a LAN network maybe... so when the user logs in the things that he/she is allowed to do(depending on his/her group). so the client must get all info about this user and on that it will edit the registry so it doesnt allow Windows to Add certain functionality to this user.

و لماذا لا اعرف لاننى لا اقرأ (لا حدود للغباء البشرى)

اضف reference لمكتبة ال directoryservices ثم قم باستيراد ال system namespace

imports system
imports system.directoryservices
