salam alikum
i am working on a project useing Access2002 & Visual Basic 6 and it is the first time to deal with Visual Basic the problem I faced is when I try to connect the data base to the form an error appear "unrecognized database format " but when i use on older vesion of Access I can connet
my question is the problem with the version (incompatibilty ) and how can I fix it

You should Add the statement:
db.provider = "microsoft.jet.oledb.4.0"
to deal with office xp
