Please brothers and sisters I need help :
1) A working ActiveX component or a Java Applet that can be called from _JavaScript in an HTML page
- The component should have some methods and properties that can be accessed from script and should be able to return some calculated value based on the input supplied to it. E.g it could be a component that takes pairs of x and y values as input and returns coefficients for a curve fit (a+bx2+cx3+....).
2) Source code for the component
3) A description of the component: i.e. inputs and outputs, properties and methods, limitations, and possible future extensions and/or modifications.
4) A Description of an application that could be built using the component.
The component and source code will be evaluated according to both difficulty (i.e. how advanced is the component?) and style (How clear is the code? Can I understand what's going on?, how good are the comments?, does it adhere to good programming standards and practices?). In the description I will be looking both at general written communication skills and at the ability to think about the bigger picture and describe an application in which the component could play a part.
