منذ فترة قريبة أنتهى the 24 hours of Delphi حول العالم , والذي حملة معه الكثير من الأخبار عن دلفي ستوديو .
أنا لم أحضر الكثير الذي يذكر ولكني حاولت متابعة الموضوع والاستماع لبعض التسجيلات ..
قام Lauchlan M بذكر بعض النقاط التي يرا أنها طرحت , وأنا أوافقة الرأي على مجمل الكلام , وسأحاول قريبا وضع أشياء أخرى ..

نحن بحاجة لمجموعة خاصة بالترجمه تساعد في نقل المميز من الإنترنت إلى لغتنا العربية , ما رأيكم ؟؟
1. ECO. ECO is being improved (ECO 3 is in the workshop), and the next version of Delphi will have some level or other of ECO in all three SKUs (pro, Enterprise and Architect). Borland have a port of ECO to VCL.NET on the drawing board, but this will not be for the version of Delphi expected at the end of the year. 2. Compact framework CF 'technology preview' support is finalised and will be available in the next few days. They are now working on a VCL.NET for the CF, which will probably appear in the Delphi release due mid next year 3. Together Together has only been bought to Delphi in a limited fashion so far, but there are now plans to bring the whole lot over. A future version of Delphi is planned to include Together's support for Metrics, Auditing, Patterns, and LiveSource. This stuff is really quite awseome (I went to a Borland presentation on it at one stage) and will be a great addition to Borland's SDO process. 4. Native Win64 support is on the drawing board, the question is when. Borland will provide Win64 for .net support first, and plan to provide native Win64 support at some point later (it was a 24 month plan). 5. C++ As we're probably all well aware, the version of Delphi due at the end of the year will include a C++ personality 6. Kylix. Borland plans to support the FreeCLX program/activity with appropriate licencing In addition, it was mentioned that Borland are doing some new things with their product quality assurance. I don't recall the details of this, but I think it included a more extensive use of and commitment to unit testing. 7. IDE The next version of Delphi will have further IDE enhancements along the same lines, eg additional refactorings.
