help for deploying SMS client in SMS server

i'm using VMware and i installed the SMS 2003 and i made the site server and the database server and a secondary site and all are working correctly .but i'm now in a stage to remote install the SMS client softeware to the XP clinet machine

i read that before i can remote install the agent SMS for my clients i should : -

1 - configure the discouvery option

2- configure the assignment of the discoverd clients to the correct site

3- configure the boundries for each site

i did all that correctly but the client didn't appear in the server database

althought i installed the client manually and give it the correct site code

waiting for help

u have to deploy the client using group policy or using client pushing

if u want to use client pushing got to the c driver

sms

clients ( i don't remmeber the path exactky)

share the client folder in the share name smsclient

it will be shared but u have to check it and give every one read permission on it

thenpush the client to all systems in ur lan

to enable logging for further troubleshooting

go the client push properties then type

ccmenableloggine-true ccmloglevel=1 ccmlogmaz=1000

then check the log file named ccm.log on the client and check the MP log file named mpmsi.log on the server

i tried what u said but nothing changed , and when i installed the SMS client manually

on client nothing appear on the server site administrative console althought

i the SMS client on the client machine respond to the site code connectivity test

but nothing appear on the server

i realesed that the server status has an error in some of its services like

"lan discouvery service"

what should i do ?

should i install any service packs on the server

by the way the server 20003 sp1

please help me .i don't know what should i do.

مش فاهم قصدك ايه يعني محصلشي حاجة على السيرفر

لو قصدك انه الكلاينت مطلعشي في السيرفر هل قمت بعمل ريفرش لل Machine policy و ال user policy على الكلاينت

و هل قمت بعمل ريفرش للمحتويات بتاعت الجروب على السيرفر لانه لازم تعمل ريفرش لها

و ما هي ال Discovery method التي انت شغال بيها
