XE on Windows

Oracle Database 10g Express Edition (XE) Now Available

Oracle's entry-level, small-footprint database that is free develop, deploy, and distribute has gone production. It is available for download on OTN. The software has a database server installation, which contains both the client and server, and a client-only installation. Each of these installation packages contain ODP.NET. A lightweight (20 MB) download of Oracle Developer Tools for Visual Studio .NET designed to be installed alongside XE is downloadable separately.
